Presentation

This Ultimate Initio Kit (UIK) comes with great funcitonalities and is fully customizable according to the controller you’re using. In this post, we’re talking about a Raspberry Pi Model B as well as a Pirocon board on top.

The design of the chassis allows us to add mutliple sensors, motors, and whatever we need.

How it’s made

“A bunch of sensors for a bunch of controls” should be the nickname of this kit.

In first comes the IR Obstacle Sensors which return boolean values.

Then the eyes, Ultrasonic Distance Sensors used to get the distance in cm from what’s in front of it (0 meaning no obstacle).

These are mounted on top of a motorized support.

In addition of what, optional Line Sensors and their line follow premade program can be fixed to the bottom of the chassis.
